We used the chromebooks for the first time in class today. The kids did an amazing job, considering it is a rather complicated sign in process. The listened well and the last 20 minutes they used sites that Mrs. A has on her student start page.
Also the fist spelling list of the year is coming home today. There is a packet of assignments. They are as follows:
Due Tuesday Make flash cards. The kids do not need to bring in the flash cards, just the page where you sign verifying they completed them.
Due Wednesday: Put the words in ABC order.
Due Thursday: The children write spooky words. Basically they write the words, so that they look spooky they may be written all shaky.
Due Friday: Practice test. The kids have to take a practice test and any words they miss on the practice test must written 5 times on the back correctly.
