I hope everyone enjoyed the days with their families. I know that I did. I even managed to not come to school this weekend for the first time in over a month. The rest was well deserved by everyone.
This week, be aware that we have gym on Tuesday and Friday. Also, picture retakes are on Thursday, if anyone wishes to redo the pictures. We will also be redoing our class photo. There were many complaints and the company has agreed to redo all of the class pictures.
The spelling homework came home before Thanksgiving. The remainder of the homework will be coming today. There is a character trait page due on Thursday, that is requiring the children to look at their own traits and how they demonstrate those traits. Just a heads up for you, it deals with responsibility, honesty, cooperativeness, respectfulness, helpfulness, and caring. If you have been having any issues with any of these topics it could be an interesting way to begin a conversation. I know at my house, my own son has been sneaking downstairs to watch TV in the middle of the night. There have been lots of discussions surrounding honesty and responsibility.
