For those of you who are not aware I am a big proponent of public libraries. Your tax dollars go to support a beautiful town library that has been serving the town for over a century.
Children's reading tastes change and grow. In order to meet these needs they will need access to different books. The most cost effective way is to borrow them for free. For those of you who may be unaware, even if the town library does not have a book you can request it from another library and it will be delivered to your local library, where you can also return it when you are finished.
I have included a link to the site where you can browse the catalog not just at Thayer Memorial Library but also at the other public libraries.

You can also borrow online books for free that can be downloaded for two weeks onto a device.
Please try to keep your town library books and school library books separate so that they do not get mixed up.
