This week

After a crazy four day weekend, we are attempting to get some work done before vacation.  Today, the class began a lesson about fractions, which will be finished tomorrow.  We also worked on some of the district assessments.

As a result of the short week, please note the following:

• We will not have a spelling list this week.
• The 100th day is on Friday, Each class is trying to collect 100 quarters for the relay for life.  Please have your child bring in any quarters for donation by Friday.
• Our Valentine's celebration is Friday.  Please do not send in food for the children to share with classmates.  Children may elect to bring in a special snack to enjoy.  It is up to parents what they wish to allow for snacks.  Junk food is fine as long as parents are ok with it.
