Missing Mineral

Dear Families,

There is a piece of mineral that looks like part of a geode missing from one of the kids.  It could have been lost outside or anywhere, but where we are studying mysteries, I would not put it past one of my crafty little pupils to be playing a bit of a mystery game with us.

It has dark purplish crystals on one side.

If you notice that the piece of rock turns up, would you please send it back to school for the correct owner.  They would very much appreciate it.
